Unilever: Reduction of food waste

According to data from the FAO, 1.3 billion tons of food is wasted each year annually since 2011. Other estimates put the amount of food wasted at about one third of global food production. The waste is generated in all stages of the production chain, so from field to fork.

Our efforts over the course of this project are to map where the waste occurs and why, thereby finding solutions to reduce waste.
